Lately, everywhere I go, it seems that everyone keeps saying, "Are you STILL here?" Meaning, "why haven't you had that baby already?" And I say with a smile that, yes, I am still here and hopefully today we'll have a bit of excitement (*polite laughter*). I have heard of women getting really tired of those kinds of comments and I always thought, "What's the big deal?" Well, now I know. It's SOOO hard to wait and reminders of how huge and late I am are NOT what is needed. I need distraction.
3 days overdue
Which is why I ironed my way through the entire ironing pile today. It was huge and took ages but was a great distraction. :) Next up...cleaning out the cupboards!

You look beautiful! We will be praying for you. I totally know the feeling of being overdue :)
Love the new page layout!
Oh, Melanie. I shall pray for you, as one who can empathize. I'm expecting #7 in late September, and we're already planning an October induction. (I've been induced every time). I get very big, and ofttimes I here the "You're still here?" 4-6 weeks BEFORE I'm due. Now, that's frustrating.
So happy for you and David (and little Mariah).
I remember those comments, too, as Kardelen was two weeks late!
Praying for you! :)
I am also glad you didn't have to wait for 2 weeks! It gets SO long! You look so good!
Hey Melly! I hope that your baby comes soon! It is fun to be able to catch up with youevery now and then on your blog! Your little girl is soooo cute!!!
Have a bless day and a safe delivery!!!
