Six months old today!
Six months...that's half a YEAR!! I think I am in denial. Just the other day David was looking at her and said that he didn't know how he would ever be able to walk her down the aisle, she is just too precious to give away! I think that day will come way too fast, so I am taking loads of pictures of these wonderful days that we have right now. They are each one such a blessing!It reminds me of that song...
Hold tight to the sound of the music of living,
Happy songs from the laughter of children at play;
Hold my hand as we run
through the sweet fragrant meadows,
And to touch as it slips
through our fingers like sand;
Yesterday's gone and tomorrow may never come,
But we have this moment today.
(Gaither)
Okay, I got all weepy just typing that! Oh goodness, the things motherhood does to you!
(Please pardon the creepy looking stuffed bee that she is holding in the above picture! It made her happy so I went with it.)

You aren't the only one wiping a tear...thanks sis! What a beautiful little lady she is. I sooo much want to give her a hug and put a kiss on her chubby little cheek. Say hi to David for me.
Oh Melanie, she is so sweet!!! I love seeing how she is growing!
I don't know if it's the subjects or the photographer, but those are beautiful pictures! I especially like the father-daughter picture! I conclude that it's the combination of photographer and subjects:) What a special family God has arranged with talents, love and vision for HIM!
Happy Birthday (6 months ago) to you little Mariah! I have such wonderful memories of holding you and snuggling so mommy could sleep. You are our little Irish sunshine girl.
After further review, I have determined that Melanie is not the photographer in one of the pictures:) I must refrain from commenting on blogs too quickly. Who is the mystery photographer? Or is it technology? Uff Da!
Hi Melanie! I've been following your blog off and on for a year or so now...I found you through your sister Mindy's blog, and I found her through her courtship story being posted on the YLCF website. Your life in Ireland looks like something out of a fairytale! I can't tell you how often my girlfriends and I had make believe games where we lived in the British Isles. Your little Mariah is such a doll! Blessings!
Yes, Annette, you're right. I am the one holding up Mariah in that picture. I put the camera on a timer so I could get that one. :)
Awww..the girls are growing up way too fast! I loved this post of yours. It brought a tear to my eye too. She is so beautiful. Her eyes are so stunning!
Awwww. Mariah is so cute!
